Cuff Bracelet Sizing
Each Eclectic Metalsmith cuff bracelet size can be formed to fit a wide variety of wrist sizes and shapes. This is a very general sizing guide as the malleability of copper allows a wearer to comfortably fit several different sizes to their wrist.
1. These basic recommendations are for bracelets of 3/4 of an inch to 1 inch.
Size | Length of Metal used for Cuff | Fitting Recommendations |
Small | About 5 1/8 inches | Better fits the small wrist of a thin woman than the medium size. Has also fit a 4 year old child |
Medium | About 5 7/8 inches | Can be tightened enough to fit the wrist of a thin woman. Can be opened to fit a larger woman’s wrist. |
Large | About 6 3/8 inches | Fits a larger woman’s wrist and smaller men’s wrists. |
Extra Large | About 7 1/8 inches | Fits a medium to large men’s wrist. Can also be worn on the upper arm of a thin woman. |
2. Another consideration is the width of the cuff bracelet. The top of a wider bracelet covers a wider diameter of the lower arm than a narrow cuff that sits just above the wrist. If the wearer is between sizes, choose the next size up or down depending upon the bracelet width.
